Whoop Whoop it’s finally hot!!! Bye Bye rain boots and Uggs, hello sunglasses, sandals, and shorts. Our summer bodies are in full effect and no matter if you were strict during the winter or eating everything in sight, it’s time to accept our beautiful bodies for what they are and strut our stuff at the beach, poolside or in the backyard. A lot of people love winter, not because of the ridged cold weather but because layers are mandatory, then summer hits and the clothes come flying off. If you got it flaunt it. That’s my motto, and I’m sticking to it.
I constantly look for any excuse to throw on my swimsuit. I have a few one pieces that I rarely ever wear, but these bad boys are way too cute. Check out my Batman swimsuit; the utility belt cracks me up every time.
Everyone likes different things. While I love sporting a bikini, other like caftans, one pieces, and high waisted numbers. This is the one time I’m going to tell you to stay in your comfort zone. If you don’t feel confident in a bikini, don’t wear one, because it will be torture to be in public sparsely dressed, and insanely uncomfortable.
The Best Swimsuits for Cury Women
High Waisted Bikinis
My God, I was so excited when the high waisted style came into play a few years ago. My stomach is relativity flat, but that high waist highlights my curves and draws attention to all my good spots camouflaging the bad.
I’ve never had a tankini, but I love the look of this swimsuit. If high waisted still isn’t enough coverage it’s a tank-kink to the rescue. There’s also the scort (skirt + shorts) version, you get more covered than the average bathing suit, but you are still cute, flirty and stylish
Ruffle One Piece
I purchased a bathing suit in Baltimore at a Marshall’s; it was white with black polka dots, low cut in the back, had a build in bra and included some ruffles around my hips. I love this suit. It was the perfect swimsuit for a family vacation; I wasn’t hanging out everywhere and the ruffles drew eyes away from my trouble areas.
The Classic One Piece
I have a few of these in my closet and if I’m feeling a little bloated from the night before I have no shame in throwing one of these on. With multiple styles and colors to choose from a classic one piece shows off your curves while leaving a little to the imagination.
The Cover Up
The tried and true cover up. I will admit I don’t wear these often, but they defiantly serve a purpose. They cover all the stuff you don’t want people to see, as simple as that. I want to get a caftan this year; I’m dying to see what it looks like on my body.
