It’s Friday… Yay. This week has been a doozy for me. I’ve been doing tons of self-reflection, trying to figure out what the next steps in my business should be. How I’m going to weather the ‘None festival season, a season that’s quickly approaching. Then I hurt my back. Can you believe I hurt my back doing yoga!! Isn’t that crazy. I was on bed rest on Wednesday and am not going to be able to workout again until next week 🙁 I would usually push myself but since I have all of these festivals I can’t risk being hurt.
I move a lot of boxes tables, chairs, and one heavy tent along with all of my art work from my storage to my car; then I have to unload my car set up my booth, then break down my booth reload my car and take my stuff back to storage. It’s a lot of physical work which I’m up for, but my back has to be 100% to have a successful day. So rest it is, and I hate it. I feel lazy and frustrated and annoyed, so the best way to get me out of this funk is to craft craft craft. I wanted to do this cool wine cork craft, but in my spring cleaning I got rid of my wine corks, and I refuse to purchase any more craft supplies. I have tons of pine cones, and they are perfect for fall decor so expect multiple pine cone crafts this month and beyond. Time to dive in.
Oh, I did great last week at Oakland Gay Pride! I sold more art than I’ve ever sold and I did it all by myself. One of my friends stopped by and watched my booth so I could go to the bathroom. A nice customer got me cold water because it was sooooo hot out, I was exhausted, but it was worth it. I’m doing at least 3 festivals a month until December (that’s the end of Festival season) it’s been fun, but I’m going to miss my lazy Football Sundays. I’m a crazy football fan if you didn’t know. 🙂
