I’m a holistic girl, all of the lotions, potions, and chemicals that we regularly put on and into our bodies freaks me out. I can hardly pronounce half of the ingredients in my favorite lip gloss. I don’t trust easily, so I’ve been making DIY beauty products for years. Today I’m featuring DIY lip gloss, DIY lip plumper, and DIY Magnesium Sea spray.
Whoop Whoop we are DIYing it up today!
I hope you guys are ready. I made lip gloss a few years ago, and it was…. just alright, I used Bee’s wax as the base and wasn’t happy with the texture or the smell, so this time I’m changing it up. We are making Raspberry, Almond, coconut oil based lip gloss. It’s super moisturizing, has five simple ingredients and nourishes my lips like no other.
Then we are heading over to the trendy side of things by making DIY Lip Plumper. Plump lips are all the rage right now; there are magic pills, serums, shots, and potion to get the desired pouty lip but again… what in the world are in these things??? After lots of research and experiments, I discovered a magic concoction, which will plump up your lips and has you looking like Jessica Rabbit in no time.
Last, but certainly not least, I had to create a misting spray. Sometimes I need a little pick-me-up a little something-something to refresh myself. Of course, I had to learn how to make a misting spray from natural ingredients because.. well because that’s just who I am.
So now you know what we are making but what will I store all of our goodies in???
When making beauty products the storage is just as important as the product. Some containers have harsh chemicals that increase after every wash. UMMM NO THANK YOU! DIY beauty products have a shelf life, with no preservatives I need durable glass jars that can be used over and over and over again. Something UV protected because the sun can reek havoc on natural products. They have to be scent proof because I don’t think everyone wants to smell my raspberry lip balm. I need airtight glass jars because air can distort the color, texture, and consistency of natural products.
That’s where Infinity Jars comes to the rescue. Infinity jars are high performance, airtight, lightproof, smell proof, leak proof, durable storage containers with multiple sizes and styles to choose from. What more can a girl ask for? Not only are they perfect for all of my DIY Beauty needs they can be used over and over again!!! Quality Glass jars made to last a lifetime. You even receive a cleaning cloth and multiple jar labels with your order. These Glass jars are made from 100% recycled glass, so I’m doing something for Mother Earth, lowering my carbon footprint one DIY Beauty product at a time.
